Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and oversee Sonae Arauco's strategic financial plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling
  • Lead the preparation and evaluation of the annual business plan, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and financial goals
  • Analyze competitiveness and financial ratios to identify opportunities, and present financial findings and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders
  • Conduct comprehensive investment analyses, including discounted cash flow (DCF) modeling, capital allocation, and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, guide strategic initiatives, and support key decision-making processes
  • Drive the integration of emerging technologies, particularly AI and ML, to accelerate and enhance the quality of financial decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Economics or Management (MBA or Postgraduate degree in Finance is a plus)
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, investment evaluation, and quantitative analysis, with 5+ years of experience
  • Professional experience in Big4 and Audit is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles and accounting standards
  • Proficiency in financial modeling tools and advanced Excel functions
  • End-user experience in SAP and HFM is a plus
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex data and to transform it into actionable insights
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to senior leadership
  • A strategic mindset with a focus on innovation, collaboration, and delivering measurable results.

Nice to have:

  • Professional experience in Big4 and Audit is a plus
  • End-user experience in SAP and HFM is a plus.
