Job Description:

HSBC Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) is a markets-led, financing-focused business that provides investment and financial solutions. Within CIB, Securities Services provides robust and reliable solutions that help clients mitigate risk and enhance their performance.

Job Responsibility:

Provide support to supervisor/manager in processing corporate events and dividends reconciliation to clients
Corporate Action event maintenance and process - gather market information, verify contents, capture events into GHSS, reconcile benefits, distribute dividends, liaise with registrars
Reporting/Billing - prepare monthly billing, customized invoices, financial data reports
Tax reclaim/Double Tax Treaty - provide tax statements and documents
Administrative work - file management, system enhancement/UAT, comply with FIM
Process foreign institutional investment securities matters
Handle domestic and foreign convertible bonds, depositary receipts conversion operations
Daily transaction accounting and reporting

Requirements:

Knowledge of Corporate Action Event types and process
Knowledge of SWFIT message types
Securities regulations on various corporate events related to FINI investment
University degree or above in business-related field
English communication skills
Securities or investment trust related work experience preferred
Trust business personnel qualification (Trust Level 4)
Completion of trust business professional test
Financial market knowledge and professional ethics
Relevant securities or trust licenses preferred
GPAD covered
