Job Description:

The Coordinador de Mercadeo at Costa Rica Marriott Hotel Hacienda Belen is responsible for promoting the property's brand image, developing marketing materials, managing social media platforms, supporting public relations initiatives, and coordinating media visits. The role emphasizes communication skills, teamwork, and creativity, as well as proficiency in the Adobe Suite and bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish. This position also supports the Marketing Manager and collaborates with various internal teams to achieve common goals.

Job Responsibility:

Promote brand awareness internally and externally
support media relations efforts including pitching ideas, interviews, and media tours
update property website and manage social media platforms
prepare marketing and promotional materials including reports, letters, and invitations
coordinate and host on-property visits for media
order supplies and manage customer databases
monitor external factors and media coverage for opportunities
respond to customer and media inquiries promptly.

Requirements:

Develop marketing materials for promotions, events, property tours, outlet activations and sales efforts
produce photography and video as needed to develop marketing materials
proficient with Adobe Suite programs
bilingual (English, Spanish)
at least 1 year of related work experience preferred
bachelor's degree in a related field such as Design
English language proficiency
strong communication skills including writing and telephone etiquette
ability to work independently and as part of a team
strong organizational skills (planning, multi-tasking, time management)
customer service orientation.

Nice to have:

Experience coordinating media visits
familiarity with scheduling mailings to databases
ability to update and manage digital library
knowledge of public relations and media relations strategies
creativity and innovation.
