Job Description:

Join W Hotel Sao Paulo as a cook, preparing high-quality food and adhering to operational and safety standards. Grow in an inclusive and innovative environment with Marriott International.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing food
wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
monitor food quality
serve food in proper portions
set up and break down work stations
wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, and equipment
ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
ability to lift, carry, push, and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
ability to operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
ability to prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards.
