Job Description:

As a Controls Engineer with Husco, you will work within our Advanced Manufacturing team and be responsible for the controls development, programming, and implementation of large-scale automation test equipment. This role will require you to work with both existing and new manufacturing technologies and relies on the Controls Engineer to provide a robust interface for the end user. A successful Controls Engineer is self-motivated and a natural problem solver who can react quickly under pressure, prioritize workload, manage several tasks concurrently, and has great attention to detail.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, troubleshoot, and deploy automated test system controls and software using LabVIEW
  • Write LabVIEW code to control automated test equipment
  • Architect, test, and deploy a reusable, modular software solution that involves using a structured software development process with version management
  • Support field installation, startup, and debug of systems at Husco and customer sites
  • Train and communicate automated machine functionality to end users and have excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external customers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related engineering field or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum of 3 years of programming experience with automated manufacturing equipment
  • LabVIEW programming experience required
  • Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints and schematics
  • Authorized to work in the United States and have a valid driver’s license
