Job Description:

HSBC is currently seeking an experienced professional for the role of Consultant Specialist. Responsibilities include conducting requirement analysis, designing and development, code reviews, and implementing development concepts. The role demands strong analytical skills, proficiency in C++, SQL, Unix, and effective communication for issue resolution.

Job Responsibility:

Conducting requirement analysis, designing and development, code reviews
Participate and contribute in implementing new development concepts in the team
Provide best practices across the SDLC/Agile development model
Communicate with relevant project teams regarding resolving technical / application issues related to delivery of projects.

Requirements:

4-6 years of experience in developing, troubleshooting, debugging C++ code, SQL and Stored Procedures
Good understanding of Unix, shell scripting
Strong analytical skills
Basic knowledge of XML
Open to work in shift and on weekend, based on ROTA
GPP product understanding
Payment flow understanding is good to have
Excellent team member
Able to work as a cross-functional team member and liaise with other Specialist, Architects
Exposure to Agile methodology
Good communication skills
Able to communicate effectively in issue investigation calls/chats
BE/BTech/MCA degree.

Nice to have:

Payment flow understanding
GPP product understanding.
