Job Description:

Consultant Specialist role in HSBC's technology team focusing on automated testing, test script creation and execution, project planning, and working with development teams to remediate test findings in the payments domain.

Job Responsibility:

Create and update automated test scripts
Perform test preparation including test data creation
Execute automated test scripts and troubleshoot test results
Review and signoff user stories written by Ops BA and low level design created by Tech Architects
Work with IT PM to create a project plan and ensure adherence to the plan
Work with Developers in remediating test findings
Own and arrange automated test scripts review with management team
Create test plan and test execution result documents

Requirements:

6+ year minimum of overall experience in manual and automation testing projects
Past extensive Payments experience as mandatory
ISO20022 knowledge is an advantage
Solid knowledge in Java programming, Cucumber and Postman tools usage
Knowledge of automation tools like JMeter and Selenium would be added advantage
Relational database operation and development experience (Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
DevOps tools experience is a plus (Jenkins, Docker and Git, etc.)
API testing experience will be advantage
K8S and Kafka experience will be advantage
Basic knowledge of Java concept
Basic knowledge of Linux command and shell script
Master the basic use of database
Strong exposure to testing terminologies and processes
Understand the lifecycle of software programming
Strong communication skills
Good English skill including writing, reading and oral

Nice to have:

ISO20022 knowledge
Knowledge of JMeter and Selenium
DevOps tools experience (Jenkins, Docker, Git)
API testing experience
K8S and Kafka experience
