Job Responsibility:

  • Work as part of Global Digital Engineering team with responsibility for API delivery for various Digital projects, Open Banking area that aligns with best practices & standards from Global Architecture group
  • Collaborate with Enterprise/Solution Architects, Business Analyst to deliver high quality APIs to enable reusability in the Group
  • Provide professional consultancy/support timely for application teams’ queries/requests
  • Ensure the technical design/code structure is technical coherent, future proof and compliance with technology standards and regulatory obligations
  • Work with Java/COBOL experienced developers and Global Architects to conduct PoC for emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline
  • Solid and proficient skills in Java, Spring Framework, Web Service, RAML
  • Strong foundation in Restful design practices
  • Experience in working with API management platform
  • Experience in modelling data in JSON. Mongo DB is a plus
  • Knowledge or experience of any ESB tools (e.g. IIB, Mule, MQ, SpringBoot)
  • Knowledge of DevOps, Microservice, Restful API, Agile concepts
  • Knowledge of DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, Git, Splunk, Jira/Confluence, AppD, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Track record in working on the delivery of complex deployment projects and under diversified/ matrix structure
  • Strong communication, presentation & influencing skills, able to operate well across cultures and in multi-cultural, diverse work environments
  • Strong analytical, design and problem solving skills
  • Excellent team player with ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Good command of written and spoken English. Mandarin is also preferred
  • Able to work at flexible hour for late evening meeting with colleagues in various regions, API deployment & production support
  • Willing to learn/explore various technologies especially in Integration domain
