Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis, crafting compelling legal documents, including federal case briefs, motions, and discovery requests
Represent clients in court proceedings, including depositions, trials, and appeals

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing of the State Bar of California
2-8 years of experience in civil litigation, with exposure to one or more of the following: business, commercial, construction, or employment litigation
Proven experience drafting substantive motions and preparing for trial
Experience with depositions is required
Desire to work in a small law firm (you would be the fourth attorney on staff).

Job Responsibility

Manage all phases of litigation, from inception through trial
Draft and respond to substantive motions, including motions for summary judgment and demurrers
Conduct and defend depositions
