Job Description:

K-Line Construction Ltd. requires a Construction Foreman for the Building Division of our group of companies, based out of our Fredericton, NB office. Our Building Division completes a wide variety of projects consisting of, but not limited to, new and renovation of commercial buildings, arenas, schools, offices, hospitality, and retail. K-Line is seeking an individual that has a strong willingness to learn and adapt to the changing environment of a construction site. This individual must be motivated and possess great leadership skills. They must be detail oriented, with a desire to produce quality work. This position is career oriented.

Job Responsibility:

Managing the daily activities of the crew and construction site
Communicating with and organizing sub-contractors
Ensuring the safety and well-being of all crew members and that all safety policies are followed
Ensuring each project is finished on-time and on-budget with quality
Completing daily reports, time and materials submittals, toolbox meetings, etc
Ensuring that all company policies are adhered to

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of construction supervisory experience is an asset, but not a requirement
A valid class 5 driver’s license
Individual must be motivated, a self-starter and possess great leadership skills
Safety training is an asset but will be provided as needed
Plan reading and the understanding of construction specifications is required
Periodic travel throughout Atlantic Canada, meals and accommodations will be paid for
