As a Configuration & Logistics Engineer, you translate the technical product documentation from our customers into an optimally configured internal production process. You ensure that our digital product structures (M-BOMs) seamlessly align with the reality on the shop floor. This makes you a key figure for a smooth production process, minimal stocks, and short lead times.
Job Responsibility:
Translating customer E-BOMs into production-oriented M-BOMs in the PLM system (Windchill)
Setting up and maintaining article data, bill of materials, and parameters in the ERP system
Responsible for correct configuration management of product data and changes
Identifying and implementing changes in consultation with Project and Product Management
Visualizing the impact on inventory, work in progress, and production
Collaborating with engineering, supply chain, and production to ensure data quality
Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of logistics processes
Requirements:
Intermediate vocational education (MBO+) / higher professional education (HBO) level, preferably in a technical or logistics field
Experience with ERP systems and product structures (such as BOMs and article data)
Affinity with PLM systems (such as Windchill) is a plus
You work accurately, in a structured manner, and are data-driven
You have an affinity with technical products and production environments
Strong in analyzing, collaborating, and improving
Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
