Job Description:

Start your journey with the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa as a Concierge Porter. Reporting to the Concierge Supervisor and Assistant Chief Concierge, you will be providing our guests with memorable arrival and departure experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests to resolve issues
Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner
Anticipate guests' service needs
Assist other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service
Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions
Provide assistance to individuals with disabilities
Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell
Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest
Stay up to date on the local area to provide specific recommendations
Supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities
Tag, store, and retrieve luggage from luggage storage

Requirements:

A genuinely warm & welcoming demeanour
A driver QLD licence
Excellent communication skills
Availability to work weekends and night shifts
A passion for the industry
A team-first attitude
A gift for paying attention to the smallest details
