We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Specialist to join our team in Boston Heights, Ohio. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for professionals with substantial knowledge of international compliance practices, government regulations, and border agency requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while showcasing expertise in administrative tasks and regulatory processes.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee compliance activities related to international borders and ensure strict adherence to government regulations and agency requirements
Handle day-to-day administrative tasks, including data entry, document preparation, and maintaining compliance records
Respond to phone calls and inquiries, offering accurate, timely, and professional guidance on compliance issues
Partner with internal teams to address compliance-related challenges and identify practical solutions
Utilize Microsoft Office tools, with a strong emphasis on Excel, to analyze, organize, and track compliance data effectively
Stay informed about relevant regulations and policies to ensure ongoing alignment with current standards
Work on-site three days per week to support office compliance functions and maintain operational workflows
Conduct detailed reviews of documentation to verify accuracy and compliance
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external agencies to address compliance matters effectively
Provide assistance with receptionist and office coordination duties as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience in administrative roles, particularly in compliance-related fields
Strong knowledge of international regulations, border agency requirements, and government policies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data organization and analysis
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team efforts
Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external agencies
High attention to detail and accuracy in managing compliance documentation
Availability to work on-site three days a week
