Job Description:

Senior function/business/product compliance risk officer for Independent Compliance Risk Management responsible for establishing internal strategies, policies, procedures, processes, and programs to prevent violations of law, rule, or regulation and design and deliver a risk management framework that maintains risk levels within the firm's risk appetite.

Job Responsibility:

Designing, developing, delivering and maintaining best-in-class Compliance programs, policies and practices
Serving as subject matter expert on Citi's Compliance programs
Staying abreast of relevant changes to rules/regulations
Overseeing monitoring and identification of regulatory developments
Analyzing impact of new regulatory developments
Advising management on regulatory and compliance issues
Participating in industry groups and trade association working groups
Leading initiatives and managing high-impact special projects
Managing strategy for regulatory examinations and inquiries
Designing and leading compliance and control reviews
Partnering with other teams to prevent and detect non-compliance issues

Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
Technical subject matter expertise of non-financial regulatory reporting (e.g. MAS, HKMA, ASIC Derivatives Reporting or international equivalents)
Expertise of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies
Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills
Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive
Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team oriented, organized
Strong presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively with regional and global partners
Experience in managing regulatory exams and relationships with examiners, auditors
Awareness of regulatory requirements including local and US laws, international and industry standards
Bachelor's degree
Experience in compliance, legal or other control-related function in financial services
Advanced degree a plus
Related certifications desirable
