Job Description:

The Compliance Control Assessment Team aligned to Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM), is responsible for assessing and testing key controls designed and executed by Compliance teams. This position is accountable for design assessments, results reporting, and insight sharing while maintaining relationships and driving accountability with stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

Executes control design assessments, monitoring design assessments and testing design assessments for controls operated by their ICRM coverage area, in line with the applicable Standard and Procedure
Handles exceptions communicated by the control effectiveness testers, including reviewing the outcomes with the Control Owners
Helps drive continuous improvements in accuracy, efficiency, timeliness, and quality of control design assessments and controls testing
Takes responsibility for their own book of work and prioritizes potentially competing deliverables
Supports training of assessment analysts on processes, systems, and execution of control assessment activities
Maintains relationships and drives accountability with partners, peers and other stakeholders to drive control assessment and testing's success in support of the ICRM’s strategy
Supports other relevant work efforts of the team where needed and as directed by their manager.

Requirements:

At least 6 years relevant experience in control assessment (First, Second or Third Line)
Advanced knowledge and experience in controls design and/or assessment
Experience in a Compliance function at a Global Bank or Financial institution preferred
Experience in executing a Risk and Control Self-Assessment program, within a Global Bank or Financial institution preferred
Advanced skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS SharePoint
Strong communication, written and presentation skills in English
Strong people and relationship management skills with the ability to influence others and foster a sense of collaboration
Ability to work independently and effectively on virtual teams, including across different geographies and time zones preferred.
