A leading global investment firm is seeking an experienced Compensation Manager to join its Human Resources team. This role will support a large, global non-investment employee population across multiple corporate functions and play a key role in compensation strategy, program design, analytics, and execution. The position offers significant exposure to senior leadership and close partnership with HR and Finance stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Support the development and execution of compensation strategy for a global non-investment workforce, ensuring alignment with business objectives and competitive market practices
Design, maintain, and evaluate compensation structures while promoting consistency and equity across roles and levels
Partner closely with business leaders and HR Business Partners on annual compensation reviews, bonus planning, incentive awards, and offer development
Support mid-year and year-end compensation cycles, including planning, analysis, and execution
Conduct compensation modeling, forecasting, and benchmarking to inform pay decisions and long-term planning
Prepare and analyze compensation-related financial reporting, including budget, forecast, and long-range planning in partnership with FP&A
Contribute to compensation-related technology enhancements and process improvement initiatives
Collaborate with internal teams on matters related to carried interest, co-investment programs, and incentive structures
Synthesize complex analyses into clear, data-driven insights and recommendations for senior leadership and executive audiences
Respond to compensation-related inquiries from managers and employees across the organization
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior compensation professionals to support team development
Support ad hoc compensation projects and issue resolution as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
8+ years of progressive experience in compensation, analytics, or a related function
Experience within financial services or similarly complex, analytics-driven environments preferred
Prior exposure to incentive plan design, equity compensation, or carried interest programs preferred
Strong understanding of financial concepts
MBA and/or CFA a plus
Experience with HR systems and reporting tools such as Workday or Power BI is a plus
Proven ability to communicate complex compensation concepts clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders
Strong analytical background with experience translating quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative, hands-on approach with strong influencing and presentation skills
Advanced Excel capabilities and strong comfort working with large datasets
Proficiency in building executive-ready materials, including data-driven presentations
Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information
Nice to have:
