The Compensation Analyst is responsible for providing critical data analysis and reporting to support Appian's human resources functions. This role specifically involves working with internal and external market data to inform compensation strategies, while also leveraging data analysis skills to drive insights and support operational processes across broader HR initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Generating, maintaining, and analyzing various HR reports to identify trends and provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making
Focus on participating in compensation surveys and researching external market data to ensure Appian's pay practices remain competitive
Provide data-centric assistance for the administration of compensation plans, including data validation and report generation for annual cycles
Respond to various ad-hoc data requests and contributing analytical support to special HR projects across different functions
Support efforts to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR data across all systems through audits and process improvements
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
1-2 years of experience in data analysis, HR analytics, or compensation, ideally within a global setting
Nice to have:
Prior experience with Workday and Radford global salary surveys is preferred
PHR, SHRM-CP, CCP and/or pursuing an MBA
Advanced Excel knowledge and skills
