The town of Ayer is hiring for a Community Development Program Manager in support of the town’s Department of Community and Economic Development.
Job Responsibility:
Managing the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and other federal grant programs
Overseeing the budget development and monitoring, financial transactions, regulatory compliance, and required reporting in regard to the CDBG Program
Collaborating with public and private partners to support services for low- and moderate-income households and to develop new initiatives
Providing professional administrative and program management support to the Office and Director of Community and Economic Development and the Affordable Housing Trust and Affordable Housing Committee
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or management or related field
Three to five years of related experience in accounting or local government financial management or any combination
A valid driver’s license
Knowledge of federal, state, and local grants including CDBG is preferred
Nice to have:
