As a Communications Student Worker, you will play a key role in shaping how Microsoft Denmark communicates—both internally and externally. Working closely with the Head of Communications, you will help craft messaging, support strategic communication priorities, and translate complex topics into clear, engaging content. Job Responsibility:
Contribute to internal and external communication activities, including writing news updates, briefing materials, event-related content, press materials, and messaging documents
Support the execution of communication plans in collaboration with the Head of Communications and cross-functional stakeholders
Translate complex topics—such as AI, digital policy, cybersecurity, or industry trends—into clear, engaging, and audience-friendly content
Conduct research to inform communication activities (e.g., media insights, stakeholder mapping, topic briefings)
Build relationships across functions and seniority levels to help coordinate communication activities and gather input
Work closely with agencies and external partners when relevant
Act with professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment when supporting communication tasks related to senior leadership
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Journalism, Business, Political Science, or a related field
Strong writing skills in both Danish and English
Ability to work independently, define next steps, and take ownership of tasks even when frameworks are not fully defined
Must have at least three semesters left of studies when joining
Nice to have:
Experience from a communications-related role (e.g., student job, volunteer work, media, or writing)
A genuine interest in society, organizations, and public debate
Ability to collaborate across disciplines and seniority levels
Curiosity, initiative, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift quickly
