Communications Specialist

• Develop, write, and edit engaging content for various channels including press releases, newsletters, social media, email campaigns, blogs, and internal communications
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure messaging aligns with brand strategy and company goals
• Assist in the creation of visual assets such as social media graphics, email templates, slide decks, and infographics
• Maintain and update content on the company’s website and intranet
• Support event communications and promotional materials (digital and print)
• Monitor communication channels and provide insights and recommendations for engagement improvement
• Ensure consistent tone, style, and messaging across all touchpoints
• Help coordinate media outreach and manage press lists as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in a communications, marketing, or related role
• Basic knowledge of design software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), or similar tools
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Ability to translate complex information into clear and engaging content
• Solid organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems (WordPress a plus)
