Job Description:

Select Offshore is hiring experienced Commissioning Supervisors to support major wind projects across the U.S., with a focus on projects using Vestas turbines. As a Commissioning Supervisor, you will lead site-based commissioning activities, ensuring all turbine systems are completed, tested, and handed over in line with Vestas protocols and global safety standards. You will manage and coordinate technicians on-site, provide oversight of commissioning schedules, and maintain strong communication with project leadership.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee and execute commissioning tasks for wind turbine systems (Vestas)
  • Ensure safety compliance and coordination across commissioning teams
  • Lead toolbox talks, quality briefings, and daily planning meetings
  • Liaise with site management and client representatives to align on project targets
  • Support reporting, documentation, and handover packages
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical commissioning issues
  • Supervise energization and grid compliance procedures
  • Promote continuous improvement and safe working practices on site

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 full project as Commissioning Supervisor on a Vestas wind project
  • 4–5 years of Vestas Commissioning
  • Valid Vestas Installation Level B certification
  • Vestas SIT Training (mandatory)
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with wind turbine systems, safety procedures, and commissioning protocols
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

Nice to have:

Offshore wind or renewable energy experience preferred
