Commissioning Home Manager

• Commission and operationally lead an 80–85 bed specialist complex care home
• Lead the service from build handover through registration, opening, and stabilisation
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a large multidisciplinary team
• Embed strong governance, compliance, and quality frameworks from the outset
• Build sustainable referral pathways with commissioners, ICBs, and local authorities
• Drive occupancy, financial performance, and long-term sustainability
• Create a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture

• Proven experience as a Home Manager or senior leader within specialist care homes or large rehabilitation centres
• Experience managing large services (40+ beds essential)
• Background in complex care, mental health, neuro, physical disability, or rehabilitation services
• Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
• Calm, values-led leader with strong commercial and people-management skills

• Commissioning experience not essential - full support provided
• NMC registration not required, though strong clinical awareness is important
