  • Assist the main Sommelier with purveyors to stay informed of product availability, potential new products, discounts, etc.
  • Assist with the monitoring of wine inventories
  • Performs server’s duties when scheduled
  • Responds properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation
  • Performs other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff
  • Demonstrates a high degree of standards awareness
  • Attends all scheduled training sessions

Requirements:

  • Technical education in Hospitality Management
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in 5 star hotels/resorts or reputable stand-alone restaurants
  • WSET diploma basic is required
  • Working knowledge of wines as well as menu items and their preparation
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Possesses aptitude and upward mobility
