Job Description:

As a Commis Chef at The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne, you will play a key role in food preparation and maintaining kitchen standards. You will have the opportunity to join a luxury brand known for exceptional service and career development opportunities. The role includes organizing and maintaining the assigned section of the kitchen, preparing and presenting food, and meeting guest expectations in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibility:

Organizing and maintaining assigned section of the kitchen effectively
Serving food in proper portions and onto proper receptacles with attention to detail
Ensuring the section is clean and runs efficiently throughout each service period
Preparing and presenting food to exceed guest expectations
Understanding guest requirements and delivering service excellence
Maintaining strong food safety and property standards
Working various shifts, including dinner and a three-shift rotation for the in-room dining role

Requirements:

Trade Industry Qualification or completion of Commercial Cookery Qualification
Passion for the industry
Relevant experience in a similar role
Full working rights in Australia (required)
