Job Description:

Join TUI Hotels & Resorts as a Commis Chef and be responsible for crafting and presenting exceptional dishes, ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests through culinary excellence and attention to detail.

Job Responsibility:

Participates in preparing the kitchen for operation (kitchen area and equipment, storage rooms, refrigeration units, etc.)
Prepares all types of dishes in accordance with procedures, professional standards, and both written and verbal instructions from supervisors
Is responsible for the appearance and presentation of food and ensures dishes are served according to established procedures
Processes and prepares meat, fish, and other meal ingredients
Ensures that prepared meals meet quality standards
Participates in the implementation of HACCP standards
Applies agreed measurement and portion standards as outlined in recipes, production instructions, and menus
Maintains personal cleanliness and hygiene, as well as the cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen and kitchen equipment

Requirements:

Must be an EU Citizen to apply
Minimum of two years of experience in the same position
Great team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Motivated, responsible, and communicative individual
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Proficiency in spoken and written English
High school diploma / vocational qualification
