Job Description:

Join the Sheraton family as a Commis 1. Prepare and cook meals, maintain food quality standards, and ensure kitchen cleanliness in a team-driven environment at the Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort. Be part of Marriott International and contribute to creating unique guest experiences.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
Test foods for sufficient cooking
Set-up and break down work station
Wash and disinfect kitchen area and equipment
Monitor food quality while preparing food
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds
Clear and professional communication skills
Adherence to quality standards and company policies.

Nice to have:

Related work experience of at least 1 year
Team player with positive working relationships.
