We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Competitive Intelligence Specialist to join our Commercial Sales Enablement organization. This role will be instrumental in designing and scaling our competitive intelligence (CI) capabilities, enabling Field leaders and colleagues to leverage technology-driven insights for sales and renewal success. The ideal candidate will be a proactive collaborator, a savvy technologist, and an enthusiastic AI adopter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The output from this role will directly support strategic planning and decision-making by continuously improving intelligence workflows and uncovering actionable insights that drive business outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Design and Implement CI Frameworks: Develop and execute competitive intelligence frameworks that enhance sales enablement and renewal strategies, driving business growth
Promote CI Technology Adoption: Collaborate with Field leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure the effective adoption and utilization of CI technologies
Monitor Market Dynamics: Keep a close watch on competitor activities, market trends, and industry developments to identify potential opportunities and threats
Conduct In-Depth Research: Utilize internal and external data sources, including third-party platforms, press releases, and social media, to perform comprehensive research, and assess competitors' strategies and sales tactics
Analyze and Present Insights: Analyze large datasets to uncover trends and deliver executive-ready insights through visually compelling dashboards, reports, and presentations
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Strategy teams to ensure intelligence aligns with business priorities
Provide Recommendations on Sales Training, Tools, and Resources: Offer strategic recommendations on sales training, tools, and resources to secure wins and enhance sales effectiveness
Manage Vendor Relationships: Oversee relationships with Competitive Intelligence vendors to maximize the strategic use of their platforms for insights and field enablement
Provide Timely Intelligence Updates: Offer timely updates on market strategies and client retention efforts, ensuring stakeholders are well-informed
Fulfill Ad-Hoc Research Requests: Address ad-hoc research requests and provide regular updates on competitor and market dynamics
Work in Agile Environments: Thrive in agile environments that involve rapid iterations and feedback loops, ensuring continuous improvement
Analyze Financial Performance: Evaluate financial performance, market maps, and benchmarking data to support strategic decision-making
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, strategy, or related fields
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences and present complex information clearly
Proven ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders, fostering a cohesive and productive work environment
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
Curiosity-driven mindset with a passion for uncovering insights and driving strategic impact
Experience managing vendors relationships to optimize the use of external resources and tools
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Nice to have:
Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional initiatives and stakeholder engagement
Proficiency in AI tools and a strong interest in emerging technologies
Experience with Salesforce CRM or CRAYON CI Platform
Applied emerging technologies to streamline Field engagement and decision-making
Certifications in Competitive Intelligence, Market Research, or Strategic Planning
