The job involves leading and implementing the commercial strategy for the IKEA Food department, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, delivering excellent customer experiences, and managing team recruitment and development. The role focuses on ensuring operational excellence, applying customer feedback, and contributing to the overall IKEA Food business plan.
Job Responsibility:
Contributes to the implementation of global and national compliance standards to secure a safe environment for customers and co-workers
Ensure the commercial agenda by securing that retail foundations and sales steering tools, food safety is in place
Lead and implement the commercial strategy and commercial calendar in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
Lead the implementation of the stores IKEA Retail Food communication strategy
Develop and improve by seeking and acting upon customer feedback
Ensure that the Food area are in shape as new and that the common store planning solutions and vitality packages are implemented
Secure that excellence in operations and high quality standards of customer experience in the customer and co-worker Bistro & SFM and optimized levels of commerciality are achieved by cooperating effectively with the Kitchen Production Manager and SFM & Bistro Manager
Contribute to the creation and implementation of the unit business plan and the IKEA Retail Food business plan and other action plans
Ensures that the team has the correct competence regarding the IKEA Food range and the IKEA services and can share this with customers in a good way
Identify, recruit, introduce, and develop the many talents and to secure succession planning
Secure a lean, diverse and high performing team through building IKEA Food and IKEA competence and leadership and empowering co-workers to act on their own initiative
Responsible for the implementation of the global and national people and sustainability strategies
Requirements:
Good knowledge of IKEA Food business solutions, compliance standards and Food safety standards
Knowledge about Local food legislations, National business direction, Consumer and Market research, Food Trends and Customer buying behaviour
Previous experience in leading a group of people
Communication skills and ability to build trustful relationships
Analytical abilities and good knowledge of Sales KPIs
Planning and organizational skills and ability to identify new business
Ability to handle multiple topics and changing priorities/deadlines
Ability to deliver strong business results through people
Ability to maintain effective work and leadership behavior in the face of setbacks or pressure
Capable of communicating in English and Italian both in writing and verbally
