Job Description:

Lawes is recruiting for a Commercial Account Handler role in Manchester, offering up to £40,000 annually. The role involves managing insurance clients and liaising with underwriters, ensuring FCA compliance and providing exceptional customer service. Candidates should possess proven experience in commercial insurance handling, proficiency in Acturis systems, and strong communication skills.

Job Responsibility:

Manage the day to day servicing of a book of commercial insurance clients across a variety of insurance lines and products
assist in the preparation renewal reports, process mid-term adjustments and support clients with policy documentation
support clients on any queries they may have
liaise with underwriters and insurers to obtain the best terms from the market and outcomes for clients
maintain accurate client records in line with company process and procedures, complying with FCA guidelines
actively seek out new business opportunities and ensure new customers and their business are adequately protected.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Commercial Account Handler within the insurance industry
experience working in a broker environment and handling premiums up to 200K
strong grounding and understanding of commercial Insurance products particularly property, casualty and motor
proficiency in the use of the Acturis system and previous experience in using insurer and broker portals alongside e-traded systems
natural communicator working with colleagues and insurer partners at all levels.
