Job Description:

Lawes Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading insurance brokerage for a dynamic and experienced Corporate Account Executive. The role focuses on client retention, strategic renewal planning, and proactive new business development through a consultative, relationship-driven approach.

Job Responsibility:

Providing tailored insurance solutions that meet evolving business needs
overseeing renewals, negotiating with insurers, maintaining FCA and Consumer Duty compliance, and ensuring high standards of client service
identifying and converting new business opportunities
collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless service
remaining up to date with market trends and risks
accuracy in record-keeping, audit readiness, and ethical client handling

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Account Executive in commercial insurance
demonstrated ability to retain clients and win new business through proactive, consultative sales
solid background in managing complex client portfolios
thorough understanding of FCA regulations and Consumer Duty requirements
strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, markets, and underwriting practices
proficiency with insurance systems and client management platforms
excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
highly organised with strong time management and multitasking abilities
a proactive, client-first approach focused on delivering value and long-term solutions
