London College of Fashion (LCF) is seeking a College Admissions Tutor to play a key role in the assessment and processing of undergraduate applications within the Fashion Business School. This is a maternity cover position initially for six months, with the possibility of extension.
Job Responsibility:
Overseeing all aspects of the undergraduate recruitment cycle
Working closely with Course Leaders to understand suitable applicant profiles and ensure that academic decisions are made effectively
Assessing applications, making offers, rejecting unsuitable candidates and referring applicants to alternative courses where appropriate
Supporting outreach activities and contribute to the promotion of undergraduate study at LCF
Participation in recruitment events, engagement with pre-degree students, delivering presentations and attending external recruitment opportunities
Requirements:
Undergraduate/higher degree in Business, Fashion or a relevant subject area
Experience in undergraduate or postgraduate recruitment within a higher education setting or experience of teaching undergraduate business subjects would be advantageous
Excellent team working skills
Ability to plan, prioritise and manage resources effectively to achieve objectives
