We’re looking for a Corporate Communications Co-op/Intern to help build Hootsuite’s brand and tell meaningful stories about our customers, executives, and product innovation. In this role, you’ll support media relations and executive thought leadership initiatives, as well as customer advocacy programs that showcase enterprise credibility — gaining hands-on experience in both areas. This role reports to the Corporate Communications Specialist.
Job Responsibility:
Support the creation and organization of communications materials, including executive talking points, event briefings, speaking submissions, and internal employee updates
Coordinate always-on customer advocacy efforts by: Searching for testimonial quotes in Gong, liaising with account owners on quote requests, and tracking all quotes, approvals, and usage in shared systems
Maintaining the logo permissions list and verifying requests to use customer logos in external marketing materials
Contribute to quarterly case study campaign planning and execution, including organizing assets, tracking deliverables, and supporting multi-channel launches
Monitor the media alias inbox, routing inquiries to the right teams and recommending how to vet inbound opportunities
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to help surface and shape stories that matter to our customers, partners, and employees
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Strong writing skills, with a focus on accuracy, creativity, and persuasion
Ability to clearly articulate complex ideas, challenges, and technologies
Organizational skills and comfort managing multiple responsibilities at once, with a clear sense of priorities
Willingness to take initiative, ask questions, and learn new tools
A collaborative mindset and interest in working with different teams, prioritizing group needs over individual ones
