Job Responsibility:

  • Read specifications and follow verbal instructions
  • Lay out, set up and Operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines
  • Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications
  • Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist
  • Check for quality of parts
  • Label parts as per Nesting Software
  • And other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Completion of High School/High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years’ experience with CNC Laser or Plasma Cutters
  • Must have excellent attention to detail skills
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to read/interpret blueprints, and drawings
  • Practise safe work procedures and follow all health & safety regulations
