Maintains the transient rooms inventory for the hotel(s) and responsible for maximizing transient revenue. The Revenue Manager releases group rooms back into general inventory and ensures clean booking windows for customers. The position recommends pricing and positioning of cluster properties. In addition, the position oversees the inventory management system to verify appropriateness of agreed upon selling strategies.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain transient rooms inventory for hotel(s) and maximize transient revenue
Release group rooms back into general inventory
Ensure clean booking windows for customers
Recommend pricing and positioning of cluster properties
Oversee inventory management system
Compile information, analyze and monitor actual sales against projected sales
Conduct sales strategy analysis
Maintain accurate reservation system information
Analyze period end data to identify trends and future need periods
Update market knowledge and align strategies accordingly
Coordinate strategies between group sales offices
Check distribution channels for hotel positioning and competitor analysis
Initiate, implement and evaluate revenue tests
Communicate brand initiatives and market analysis to stakeholders
Requirements:
2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
3 years experience in revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area
OR 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
1 year experience in revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area
Experience analyzing and reporting revenue management data
Experience executing revenue management projects and strategy
Ability to develop and manage internal key stakeholder relationships
