Job Description:

As a Cloud Managed Services Engineer (L1) at NTT DATA, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing clients' cloud environments. This role requires entry-level experience in managing Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, and network management. A bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent experience is required. You will monitor infrastructure, resolve incidents, and ensure client satisfaction while contributing to project work and knowledge management.

Job Responsibility:

  • Monitor client infrastructure and solutions
  • Identify problems before they escalate
  • Ensure seamless service delivery
  • Proactively investigate and resolve cloud-based incidents and service requests
  • Handle first-line support for standard and low-complexity incidents
  • Ensure smooth operation and optimization of clients' cloud infrastructure
  • Provide support via phone or chat
  • Execute maintenance activities like patching and configuration changes
  • Follow handover procedures
  • Discover opportunities for work optimization, including automation and process improvements
  • Contribute to project work as needed
  • May be involved in implementing and delivering disaster recovery functions and tests
  • Update and create knowledge articles

Requirements:

  • Entry-level experience managing platforms like Windows and Linux server administration, virtualization, and server hardware and storage
  • Basic knowledge of network, DATA center, telephony, exchange, storage, cloud, and backup products
  • Strong planning skills to manage activities and projects while adapting to changing circumstances
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across different cultures and social groups
  • Commitment to client satisfaction, ensuring a positive client experience throughout their journey
  • Active listening skills to fully understand client requests and issues
