This is a Contract position where you will take on a leadership role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions and DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, CI/CD pipeline development, and infrastructure automation, with a focus on security and scalability.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, GitHub, and Jenkins, ensuring integration of security and quality checks
Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure automation solutions using tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
Oversee container orchestration efforts using Kubernetes and manage cloud-native services on AWS GovCloud
Establish and promote enterprise-level DevSecOps reference architectures and reusable pipeline templates
Integrate security controls, automated testing, and quality gates into all stages of the software development lifecycle
Guide platform engineering teams in creating sustainable, automated solutions for deployment and environment configurations
Ensure compliance with Zero Trust architecture principles, including identity, network, and data protection
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud-based solutions that align with organizational goals
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to DevSecOps squads, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency
Drive the adoption of state-of-the-art tools and methodologies to enhance system performance and security
Requirements:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering, with at least 5 years in DevSecOps leadership roles
Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub, and Jenkins, along with expertise in Kubernetes and Docker
Hands-on experience with AWS technologies, including AWS GovCloud, EC2, and Auto Scaling
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
Familiarity with security integration tools such as Snyk, Aqua Security, and Checkmarx
Programming skills in Python, Go, and Bash to support automation and system development
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
a Master's degree is preferred
