Job Description:

Hunter AHP are seeking a Band 8a Locum Clinical Pharmacist to join the Pharmacy team at a well-regarded NHS Hospital in Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled pharmacist looking to provide high-quality care within a supportive hospital environment.

Job Responsibility:

Provide ward-based clinical pharmacy services across a range of specialties
Deliver support within the dispensary, including discharge medication processing
Undertake out-patient pharmacy duties and manage homecare prescription screening
Ensure the safe and effective use of medicines, contributing to patient safety and service continuity

Requirements:

GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
Previous NHS hospital experience at Band 8a level (or strong Band 7 experience with relevant clinical skills)
Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to work autonomously
Experience with discharge processes, outpatient services, and homecare screening preferred

What we offer:

Competitive hourly rate: £33–£37/hour
Weekly payroll – paid every Friday
