Job Description:

CIS Scribe, or Clinical Informatics Specialist Scribe, is a role that combines aspects of both a scribe and a clinical informatics professional. They work alongside physicians, often in a medical office or clinic, to document patient encounters in real-time within the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Additionally, they may be involved in tasks related to data analysis, quality improvement, and training of other team members.

Job Responsibility:

Document patient encounters in real-time
Improve quality standards
Analyze clinical data
Train other team members on informatics processes

Requirements:

Experience in clinical informatics
Ability to document patient encounters in real-time
Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
