Job Description:

As a Front Desk Clerk at Four Points by Sheraton Guilin Lingui, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, processing check-ins and check-outs, and providing exceptional hospitality services in accordance with Marriott International standards. The role demands professional appearance, adherence to safety and security guidelines, and strong interpersonal skills.

Job Responsibility:

Process guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and activating keys
process payments using various methods
assist with check-outs and resolve late or disputed charges
answer and process guest requests, calls, and messages
coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness
provide guests with directions and local area information
run daily reports
complete cashier and closing reports
count bank at shift start and end
balance and drop receipts per accounting specs
welcome and assist guests, including individuals with disabilities
follow uniform and appearance guidelines
build positive work relationships
comply with quality assurance standards
follow company safety and security policies

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
no related work experience
no supervisory experience
clean and professional personal appearance
ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds
ability to speak professionally and use appropriate etiquette
confidentiality and ability to protect company assets
compliance with safety and security policies
strong interpersonal skills
willingness to assist individuals with disabilities
