Our team is dedicated to maintaining high standards of service and excellence in every project we undertake. We are seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to join the Team. This role is responsible for overseeing DPI’s daily cleaning operations, ensuring high service standards, staff performance, compliance with DPI procedures, and effective communication with site management and clients.
Job Responsibility:
Provide first-response cleaning cover during staff holidays or sickness across DPI-managed sites
Ensure fortnightly timesheets are accurately collated and submitted to DPI payroll within deadlines
Manage all DPI stock on site and ensure monthly stock reports are completed correctly
Ensure all DPI staff complete required inductions and identify any retraining needs
Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are used and maintained to DPI standards
Ensure all DPI employees report to work in the correct DPI uniform
Ensure all equipment is stored properly, maintained in good working order, and report issues promptly
Address client queries promptly and professionally, ensuring client satisfaction with DPI services
Arrange cover during the absences of cleaners or DPI mobile cleaning specialists
Ensure all cleaning schedules are completed to the required DPI standard
Monitor timekeeping and attendance, ensuring adherence to DPI’s clock‑in/clock‑out procedures
Identify productivity improvements, optimisation of allocated hours, and other factors affecting DPI’s monthly results
Ensure all site-specific security procedures are followed correctly
Meet regularly (monthly or as required) with the Site Manager and Data Centre Manager, providing prepared reports on resolved issues and escalations
Host staff meetings and deliver Health & Safety toolbox talks on behalf of DPI
Manage staff performance and disciplinary matters in line with DPI procedures
Maintain effective communication within DPI and across relevant departments
Manage cleaning responsibilities in DPI HQ
Represent the business, upholding our core values and behaviours with all internal and external customers, clients and third parties
Maintain business and client confidentiality, adhering to applicable Data Protection regulations and Information Security Standards in line with company, and group policies and procedures
Requirements:
Full BICS Training (preferred)
Previous supervisory or management experience
Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and customer‑focused approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership abilities
