Job Description:

HammondCare Daw Park is looking for a Permanent Part-time Cleaner to work onsite at a brand-new residential aged care facility. The role involves maintaining high-quality domestic support services for residents, adhering to cleaning schedules, and working closely with aged care residents, including those living with dementia. HammondCare emphasizes flexibility, training, and ongoing development.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver high quality services within the Domestic Support to aged care residents
Communicate in a friendly manner with people living with dementia
Follow all cleaning guidelines and schedules for all equipment and working surfaces.

Requirements:

Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts including weekends
Roster is 3 days per week, must be 3 consecutive days, for example: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday
MUST have 2+ years Cleaning experience in a commercial environment
MUST be willing to work around aged care residents who are living with dementia
MUST be willing to communicate in a friendly matter with people living with dementia
Value teamwork but also be able to work independently and show initiative
Follow all cleaning guidelines & schedules for all equipment & working surfaces
Demonstrated understanding of safe manual handling and standard precautions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
