Job Description:

The Claims Program Specialist provides comprehensive administrative and operational support for the assigned Marriott Claims Services (MCS) regional office. This role coordinates office functions, manages key processes, and supports all MCS team members. The position reports to the Regional Director and works closely with associates, hotel operations, leadership, risk management partners, and external vendors.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the administrative needs of MCS-Central Region and Risk Management
  • Process daily checks in accordance with the Centralized Check Printing Policy & Procedure Manual
  • Manage postage, outgoing mail, and FedEx shipments
  • Provide backup support for physical evidence management, office supply coordination, hardware maintenance, and general administrative tasks
  • Assist with P&PM revisions, best-practice guideline updates, and monthly organizational chart maintenance
  • Complete special projects and other administrative tasks assigned
  • Support the administrative needs of MCS-Eastern Region and Risk Management
  • Retrieve the daily NY-C-8.4 form from the Genex/Enlyte portal and distribute accordingly
  • Process NY e-case access requests through the NYWC site for vendors completing IMEs requested by adjusting staff
  • Manage vendor payments and ensure W-9 compliance
  • Complete Special Funds reimbursement requests and maintain the NY Penalty spreadsheet
  • Handle ISO claim requests
  • Compile claim file documentation for defense counsel
  • Assist with Public Goods Pool payments, NY 148 Acknowledgements, and Document Imaging
  • Complete special projects and other administrative tasks assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years relevant experience
  • Strong proficiency with computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office 365
  • Knowledge of claims processing
  • General database experience – moderate proficiency
