The overall objective is to onboard new to bank Citigold & Citigold Private clients, responsible for meeting monthly sales targets. The person will also be responsible for identifying any existing Citiblue clients who can be upgraded to Citigold by upsizing current funding.
Job Responsibility:
Jointly work with the Acquisition Head and Branch Banking Staff for identifying and acquiring Citigold new-to-bank customers and upgrading existing Citiblue customers to Citigold
Identify and solicit new-to-bank Citigold customers through internal and external channels
Assist client in opening Citigold account in U.A.E. or in an offshore location such as Singapore
Actively promote referrals from existing clients to generate a pipeline of Citigold prospects
Upgrade existing Citiblue relationships to Citigold by upsizing current funding and deepening the relationship
Convert the leads sent by the Telesales Unit or other channels into funded Citigold Accounts
Actively engage with high payroll clients for conversion into funded Citigold status
Optimise funded Citigold opportunity in listed payroll companies
Complete update of 'know your client' details for the originated accounts
Attract an investment client base through relationship management
Spearhead any micro marketing events focused on new-to-bank acquisition
Work with the product team, telemarketing to identify initiatives and products that will help acquire new customers for the Bank
Identify and pursue new clients aligned with CITI RETAIL BANK’s value proposition
Assist a Citigold client in meeting any identified investment and insurance financial need by referring him to on Investment Professional
Keep abreast of current economic environment and capital markets to optimise acquisition effectiveness
Deliver on score card parameters
Meet compliance and control standards set by Citigroup
Requirements:
Foundational knowledge of CITI RETAIL BANK’s structure, strategy, product suite and target market
Demonstrates basic knowledge of Citi Risk and KYC policies and practices
Demonstrates basic knowledge of credit skills and Early Warning Detection
Demonstrates ability to build knowledge of all aspects of commercial banking including basic commercial credit knowledge and an ability to quickly learn new products and service
Passion for creating new business opportunities with existing clients and able to demonstrate innovative approaches to meeting clients’ needs
Ability to embrace new technology and understand the role digital plays in the experience we deliver for our clients
Nice to have:
Prior experience of acquiring high-net-worth clients
Prior experience in investment products such as Mutual Funds, Insurance, equity, fixed-income (bonds)
Other industry relevant sales experience such as real estate or assets experience
