Job Responsibility

Provide technical support and advice to ensure a successful ramp up and ongoing operations of the processing plant
Work closely with operational team to provide ongoing coaching to drive plant efficiency
Oversee the onsite lab. Ensure lab technicians and personnel support ramp up activities and maintain safe practices in operation
Contribute to the identification, development and delivery of process improvements and opportunities within the CHPP
Monitor and report on the process plants performance
Provide support for accurate budgets
Evaluate operational risks and opportunities and ensure implementation of mitigation strategies

Job Responsibility

Provide detailed rolling medium term forecasts and budgets for the operation
Communicate effectively with technical services, CHPP, maintenance and mine operations personnel in relation to deliverables for mid/long term schedules which would include
physical quantities, resource and utilisation requirements to deliver schedules and long term mine plans
Assist and mentor other members of the technical services team as required, e.g. design, EOM process, and short term engineering challenges
Ensure designs/schedules are compliant with the site SHMS, relevant statutory requirements, and legislation
Actively report hazards and incidents
Participate in safety investigations as required
