We are seeking Support Workers to provide complex care for children with a range of complex issues, across Essex. Job Responsibility:
Provide high-quality care to young children
Be proactive with managing activities & sensory play
Ability to communicate clearly & effectively through verbal & written means
Strong interpersonal skills, along with empathy
Must have a calm demeanour and a playful personality
Maintain clear and accurate care observation records
Must be able to maintain a high level of personal care
Requirements:
At least a 1 years’ experience working with Children & Learning Disabilities
Proven experience in Paediatric Complex Care
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the Airmid care team, MDT and family
Compassionate, empathetic approach to patient-focused care
Experience with elements of Tracheostomy, PEG/NG Feeding, Ventilators, Deep suctioning. (not all essential)
Experience with Learning Disabilities & challenging behaviour
