Chief Surveyor

• oversees all surveying activities on a project, ensuring accurate measurements, layout, and alignment of structures according to design specifications
• manage the surveying team, coordinate with project stakeholders, and use advanced tools to collect and analyse data
• responsible for setting out construction lines, monitoring site progress, ensuring quality control, and maintaining accurate records
• lead and coordinate all surveying tasks on site
• Supervise and train surveyors
• Set out reference points, benchmarks, and grid lines
• Ensure compliance with surveying standards and quality control
• Use modern surveying technology (GPS, Total Stations, etc.)
• Report and resolve discrepancies in measurements
• Maintain accurate documentation for future reference
