Chief Audit Executive

• Develop and timely deliver country audit plan
• ensure quality and timeliness in work performed and reports produced
• ensure the Board, Audit Committee, CCO, and in-country management receive prompt and complete information
• maintain a constructive, solutions-driven relationship as an independent auditor
• ensure effective cost management
• ensure adherence to local regulations and Citigroup policies
• ensure appropriate Internal Audit staffing and succession plan
• promptly identify and escalate control issues raised by regulators
• work constructively with management and control functions to address governance or control issues
• ensure compliance with Internal Audit Charter, policies, and quality standards
• conduct special investigations for the franchise as required by regulation.

• At least 15 years of banking experience including diversified financial management and audit experience
• proficient in written and spoken English
• thorough knowledge of operations and control systems
• understanding of best-in-class audit methodologies
• strong leadership with a proven track record in managing high-performance teams
• effective at strategic team design, recruitment and professional development
• experience in working within a matrix organization is an advantage
• strong relationship management skills
• articulate and effective communicator

• Experience in working within a matrix organization
• related certifications such as CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar.
