Chef de Partie position at The Dubai EDITION hotel, responsible for food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations while maintaining quality standards and supporting team members in a luxury hotel environment.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare special meals or substitute items
Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in refrigerator
Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
Maintain food logs
Monitor quality and quantity of food prepared
Communicate assistance needs during busy periods
Inform Chef of excess food items for daily specials
Inform Food & Beverage staff of menu specials and out of stock items
Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
Prepare cold foods
Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating employees
Follow company safety and security policies
Report maintenance needs and accidents
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional
Requirements:
Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
At least 3 years of related work experience
Ability to prepare special meals or substitute items
Knowledge of regulating oven, broiler, grill, and roaster temperatures
Food preparation and cooking according to recipes and quality standards
Food safety and sanitation knowledge
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
