Checkout Team Leader responsible for ensuring positive customer payment experience, managing checkout operations, leading checkout team, and contributing to store's commercial success while maintaining IKEA culture and values.
Job Responsibility:
Give customers a positive payment experience
Ensure check-out area is in shape as new
Ensure check-outs are efficiently equipped throughout the day
Ensure co-workers are ready and available to help customers
Support check-out co-workers when they cannot resolve customer needs
Deal positively and quickly with issues raised by customers
Follow up on queuing policy and waiting times
Guide customers to appropriate check-out
Ensure spot checks are conducted daily
Ensure store is safe and secure environment
Act on customer feedback to make service improvements
Understand importance of accurate stock inventory
Work with manager to identify root cause of recurring problems
Educate team on IKEA Concept
Contribute to check-out action plan
Ensure co-workers aware of business contingency plans
Deliver fast and positive payment experience
Secure IKEA Culture and Values through own example
Ensure right number of co-workers in right place at right time
Make sure agreed schedule for the day is kept
Help and support colleagues when needed
