Job Description:

Part-time checkout services role focused on providing excellent customer service, handling payments, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for IKEA customers

Job Responsibility:

Ensure check-out is effectively equipped at all times
Have knowledge, confidence, and desire to make customer payment easy
Know levels of authorisation to solve payment problems
Offer solutions to frequently asked questions
Use the till to accurately register products and register payment
Ensure store is always a safe and secure environment
Understand importance of accurate stock inventory
Understand global solutions, tools and working methods and the IKEA Concept
Contribute to check-out action plan
Listen to feedback from customer and pass on to manager

Requirements:

Passionate about people, business, and IKEA's purpose
Ability to use personal initiative and make decisions
Polite and friendly manner
Enthusiastic about work and working with others in a team
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Assertive and able to remain calm and controlled when faced with emotional customers
Ability to prioritise and organise own work to make efficient use of time available
